Purley War Memorial Hospital
Introducing Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Parking at Purley War Memorial Hospital.
A new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system is being introduced at Purley War Memorial Hospital (PWMH) to make parking simpler, safer, and more efficient for visitors.
ANPR uses cameras to record vehicle number plates as they enter and leave hospital car parks. This technology improves car park management and security by automating vehicle monitoring, helping ensure fair use of spaces and reducing congestion.
- Blue Badge Holders parked in a accessible bay will need to scan their blue badge upon arrival which will allow three hours free parking. Blue badge holders parked elsewhere will incur a PCN.
- There is a five minute set down and collection grace period.
- Payment is made as you leave so you only pay for the time used
- The ‘Trust app’ can be downloaded. The autopay function will allow users to park at CUH and/or Purley and have their account automatically deducted as they leave.
