Best Start Chatterbox Groups are drop-in groups for Croydon families with children under the age of 5 years old who have concerns about their child’s talking or interaction. They are run jointly by Children’s Centre and Speech and Language Therapy Staff across the borough to promote, encourage and support speech, language and communication development.

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools. They provide
counselling and mental health support and training, using tried and tested methods backed by research.

Healthy Start

With Healthy Start, you may be qualify for food vouchers and healthy vitamins if you are on certain benefits. The free vitamins can be collected from Best Start children’s centres and health centres.
